My parents are only 10 miles away from the Orange County fires, and my aunt and uncle also. I'm scared for them, and hope they remain safe.
I believe my parents are safe for the time being since there has been an evacuation center set up at my old high school a few blocks from their house.
But how ironic is it that I have moved into fire territory, and now they are the ones being threatened by fire?
Please keep all the families that have lost their homes, and who are currently threatened by the fires in your thoughts.
